Yes and in the report for the Q3 2018, AirAsia reports just 21 jets for the philippines, C8995 is number 22. Planespotters still list them as part of the fleet.

ChiangMai - Yangon 3/7 canx from 22. January -
They took delivery of this aircraft after all. Wonder why she went all the way to Abu Dhabi then return to KL?
I think there are one or two more used A333 due for AirAsia Group before A339neo delivery.
Maybe there was no other capacity to do some cabinworks?
A month ago Hawaiian send an A332 to Rome just for painting...
Yes one more to come and maybe another one from Indonesia.

@flee
it is not a nice way to delete my original post about the A330neo to TAX without any notice and then open a new thread by yourself ;-)!
As i wrote several times, they will fly from DMK to Europe and maybe to Avalon-Melbourne.
And thats not cause the new Group-CEO is from Thailand.
The volume on Europe-Thailand is much much bigger than to Malaysia, thats a fact.

Perhaps a comfortable A321LR (32-33" seat pitch Y seat together with 2-1 flatbed seats for its premium service) can be considered for a KUL-MCT-LGW service. You really wanna burn Tonys money? ;-)
If they wanna do KUL-LGW they will do that with an 330neo!
As i said i expect that they use the 330neo first out of DMK to euorpe.
For the 321LR, expect more routes like KUL-Cairns, KUL-Nagoya or KUL-Adelaide and KUL-Karachi maybe.

The airline’s fleet growth has been lower than expected this year. The AirAsia X Group had previously planned to add three A330s to its Malaysian operation and three to its joint venture in Thailand. However, the company adjusted the plan to instead add four to the Thai affiliate and none for Malaysia. The quality of this article is not very good...

Thats both not possible.
1. They need to reach 20 jets to fly international ( now they have 19 ).
2. The indian rule says that at least 20 jets must stay in the domestic market...only number 21 22 and so on can be used for international services.

In the report about the Q3 AirAsia predicts 223 A320 at the end of the year.
Planespotters have now 223 but including one old stored ZestAir A320.
The only difference is a 20th A320 for India. So i think this one will come later this month from outside.
Prediction year end:
94 Malaysia
62 Thailand
24 Indonesia
21 Philippines
20 India
2 Japan
Plus 2 A320 leased to a third company ( PIA i think ).

AirAsia X is thinking about A321LR!
100 A321Neo are fix ordered for the "normal" operations.
