I am hopeful as I will be flying LH to Europe in July!
-
When is MH going to announce the order? I have been waiting for so long.
Soon...just be patient. Maybe tomorrow, maybe next week, maybe next month, maybe next year, maybe never...
-
Aiyoh - even the very few best thing on board (peanuts) also jatuh standard. Apa lagi boleh turun.
-
Well...rumours... so who knows - according to this report, LAX was axed even though the load as 85%!

Not too creative in coming up with convincing reasons.....

Salad and nasi lemak is prepared in cold kitchen and hot kitchen respectively, and they don't reheat salad.
For the nasi lemak served in premium cabin, cucumber is served - so does that means the food (ie those needing heating, and not) is prepared seperately?

SINGAPORE, Pratt & Whitney, a United Technologies Corp. company, announced today that it has signed an exclusive, 10-year Fleet Management Programme (FMP) agreement with Malaysia Airlines to maintain the airlines fleet of 43 PW4170 installed engines and spare engines.
So this IS the announcement, that's all?

I guess it must be low season. 3-4 years ago, I flew SQ to LHR, and we have only like 30 pax. The entire lower deck is all empty and cabin crew joked about 1 crew serving 2 pax. In fact I was seated at the upper deck and the crew asked if I wanted to go down to the lower deck where I could have the whole cabin to myself
-
Abandoning LHR and moving to STN might be a possibility since the airline could be heading down low cost model? Then we will have 800 pax A380 as flagship route - and economy class seating will be 3-5-3!
-
SQ does not even feature skytrax in their website, unlike ...

Feb 20 - anyone taking up the offer for the inaugural flight from KUL?
-
From SilkAir website featuring their new B737-800 - Biz seat pitch is 39" and ecomony is 30'. No PTV. Well, at least we can say MH fares better in their B737-800! OK la - 5 star
-
and soon and very soon, the red line that connects to Los Angeles will be gone! Looks rather naked ....
-
no more bar service after seat belt signs are off on long haul, no more menu card, meals with reduced portion........and for domestic flights across South Cina Sea, no more peanuts....what else will MH cut?
-
A proper tray is also missing from the picture uploaded by Chef Wan.
Yeah - there is no more tray for most domestic and regional flights - the meal now served with the paper box containing just the "naked" nasi lemak and mineral water. that's all. On some flights, even hot beverages are not served. No more bun, no more fruits/desert, no more kacang! Just shows how the meals served have deteriorated over the years.

MAS should shut down First Class product.. Just focus Business Class and Economy Class product..
Maybe premium economy and economy class
-
You mean to have the crew going about with timun in one hand, slicer in other ?
Then second crew member to follow behind with ikan bilis and collect payment of ancillary income ?!
Then another to follow - more sambal?
-
Now there is even less reason to fly MH whose product is like decades behind.
-
With the kind of ticket prices that are at times cheaper than Air Asia, something has to go. Sadly, of all things, MH choose to cut the cost of food. Food served on my recent regional flgihts were rather pathetic.

Thanks for this - just showed that MH used to fly to so many destinations in the past. What else is there to cut before it stops flying completely?
-
Once upon a time, it her glorious era, it used to fly to 6 continents .....
-
Does MH even have enough A380s to flight to NYC, unless this means they will order more A380s?
Syiok sendiri? -
And no menu for food for long haul is also not 5-star! I could go on....
-
I only have a small gripe - all my previous bookings are no longer there, and they need to be manually keyed in. Otherwise, it is a great improvement
