I assume it will no longer be wearing the name tag "Putrajaya" but the rather generic "9M-MPP".

Wow, a B744 in the retro livery! This should become a major hit worldwide.
They should have a long term plan for this aircraft for such investment.

YES!!! Thank you Pian for the confirmation pic of the Premium Economy cabin on the A333.

And a new livery too?

If popular vote is the benchmark, D7 should fly to IST/SAW first than any other European cities.

The A380 continues to be intertwined with London Heathrow. Malaysia Airlines has cut both its European and A380 scheduled network to just twice daily Heathrow A380 services. Emirates will introduce a sixth daily A380 flight to Heathrow and British Airways is evaluating taking second-hand A380s. London Heathrow is not the busiest A380 airport: that title goes to Dubai, home of Emirates, which operates more A380s than any other airline.

Long Akah, Long Lallang, Lubok Antu, Bario and of course, Bakelalan too.

Hot hot hot from the sexy and gorgeous spies at the Emirates Golden Boudoir:
Baru jek nau nau EK announced Yangon and Hanoi starting 3 August. Baru je dapat ni ha they announced dalam company email. 3 class so merasa la akak gi Hanoi and Yangon.
Question:
Isn't the objective for this EK-MH partnership is for MH to offer EK a connection in the South East Asia region? With EK launching their own flights to SEA cities like Hanoi and Yangon, what else can MH offers other than mereput?
-
Malaysia Airlines starting 01MAR16 will enter phase 2 of codeshare partnership with Emirates, which sees MH code being placed on routes beyond Dubai, operated by Emirates. Planned new codeshare routes as follow.
Malaysia Airlines operated by Emirates
Dubai – Bahrain
Dubai – Barcelona
Dubai – Frankfurt
Dubai – Geneva
Dubai – Lyon
Dubai – Madrid
Dubai – Nice
Dubai – Paris CDG
Dubai – Rome
Dubai – Stockholm
Dubai – Zurichhttp://airlineroute.net/2016/02/24/mhek-codeshare-mar16/
Let see if these flights are bookable through MH's website or not.

Wow! Any pictures of the 2 Speedbirds side-by-side at the terminal? Quite a strange management of assets, as one would think deploying a larger aircraft combining the 2 flights would make more sense. But probably BA has a spare B789 and none of the other type (i.e. A380) to do the relief work hence the outcome.

My vote for flying in Y if fares are the same:
Better Transport Connection from Central London: BA
Better Terminal in LHR: MH
Better Departure Time: MH
Better Arrival Time: BA
Better Total Flight Time: BA
Better Flight Frequency: MH
Better Aircraft: BA
Better Seat: Tie
Better Food: MH
Better Cabin Crew: MH
Better IFE: Tie
Better Embarkation & Disembarkation Process/Time Taken: BA

Nope. The bilateral agreement with Australia has been revised a couple of years back.

MH is free to fly the A380 to SYD and MEL.
More capacity freed when D7 scaled down too.

I think this news is about leasing the 4 A359 which all of us here have known ages ago.
This news (MH wanting to expand its fleet) does not make sense especially when we knew that they just retired their entire B772 fleet, they wanted to sell all their A380 and retire the fleet in 2017, they plan to retire like 20 (?) leased B738 and the only new aircraft coming in are the 4 leased A359 in 2017 to replace the A380 and the 2 option of A339.

Hot hot hot from the spies at the Emirates Golden Boudoir:
First batch Malaysian FO yang secondment from MAS tu ada 35 joiners.
Second batch will be coming. 40 joiners.
Semua FO MAS offered money to resign from MAS. Memang MAS dah lingkup tak boleh buat apa they told me. Kesian theyols.
A380 MAS nobody wanna sebab configuration dia pelik. Tersadai jah kat airport. That's what they told me la.
-
Are they offering F on the KUL-SIN leg?
-
Orang utan with a tagline "We are not a monkey business".

A comprehensive outlook at all of Emirates' current partnerships, including with MH.
-
MAB did not rescue Rayani. Rayani's bosses chartered (paid for) MAB aircraft to fetch the stranded passengers.
I don't think MAB is in a mood for sedekah jariah.
On the allerged sabotage, I doubt it. I mean look at the mereput aircraft.
-
200 pax on a former MH B734 with 144 seats? There must be 56 lap-seating babies on that LGK flight.
-
I think April is when the first aircraft with the new cabin enters service. September is when all 15 aircraft will be in service with the new cabin.
-
The seat here looks slightly different from the unveiling ceremony in London in November 2015. Has there been some tweaking done? And completion in all 15 A333s is scheduled in September 2016.

I recalled this function has been available on EK's website since many many years ago (as far as 2008 if I am not mistaken). I recalled posting a screenshot of a KCH/BKI/JHB originated flight booked from EK's website at that time while ranting about why MH can't get a simple function on their website works while EK has gone to the point of allowing booking on other unrelated airline (no code share whatsoever) so that it can connects with its flights in KUL (I recalled I was still living in Indonesia so it must be prior to August 2008).
MAB to Re-Introduce the B747-400; 9M-MPP in Retro Livery
