Kian Hong. Thanx!!
You are welcome. My pleasure...
Here's some movements over the weekend.
Catch of the day. VH-OJS with 'Qantas Socceroos, We're with you all the way' decal as QF10 from EGLL. ATA is 1840 with little light left.
Garuda A332 PK-GPH has been making regular appearances at WSSS.
VT-BRK Dassault Falcon 2000EX.
Good to see some cargo movement other than the regulars. OO-THB 'Ken Thomas'
The day started out with some nice sunshine in the morning, then fair weather cumulus & high cirrus in the afternoon. Down to some TCU & CB in the late afternoon and it looked like its gonna pour anytime soon. But the weather managed to hold up with some sunshine in between until sunset. A fruitful day in NOV! Btw, I was spotting with bro Nguyen - our one and only 'Vietnamese' hail from Sarawak.
Thanks for viewing. Cheers.

17/11/2009 Prolly the best day within the month of NOV in terms of light.
HS-ABI (c/n 3729) with "See a baby panda @ Chaing Mai" decal.
PK-GER (c/n 30876) Garuda "Nature Wings" new color.
China Airlines B-18610 (c/n 29105) Lavender color.
Strategic Airlines latest A320 VH-YQA in all white scheme landed 20R at 1812 in torrential rain. <_>

To spoil everyone's fun. AF1 usually only land at Payar Lebar and there's no establish spotting location around Payar Lebar. Even if there are people spotting at Payar Lebar, the results usually only reserved for private eyes as local spotters deem it to be too risky to put them on public domain.
As much as I like to see AF1, I definitely don't wanna get into trouble with local enforcement agency considered how paranoid they are on normal days, let alone on the day AF1 arrive. I'll stick to WSSS.

'Tower, we are visual!
Always a relieving sight to see the runway and approach light in such IMC conditions. Very nice! Thanks for sharing.

In addition to the above mentioned upgrading, the construction of Royal Malaysian Police Air Unit Flying Academy and its associate taxiway is on going. I quote 'The work involves the construction of a new parking apron, a connecting taxiway and hangar facilities'.
Good news for IPH.

Nice nice ... me coming this early December to catch the new Garuda and ANZ wingletted B763. See u guys.

I balik kampung (Pieter: going back to hometown) over the weekend. Went to spotting at WMKI for the first time to catch the only scheduled flight into Ipoh. Aircraft arrived earlier than schedule thus no landing shots and it departed on time too. I guess I shouldn't worry too much about my flight back to SIN city tomorrow.
Waiting for pax to board.
WMKI airport terminal overview with limestone hills and main range in the background. This airport has some pretty interesting instrument approaches because of its location in Kinta Valley.
DCA Ipoh - WMKI control tower.
Take-off roll. The fence!!
Climbing. Some interesting houses in the background.
Gear up!

Some movements caught in YBBN.
Promoting the last grand prix of the season - 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Dassault Falcon 900EX - N146EX.
Dornier 228 - first time seeing this odd looking aircraft.
Overview of the YBBN - domestic terminal is bigger than international terminal. International terminal is at the southern end and GA apron is at the northern end. Main runway is rwy 01-19 and a shorter runway 14-32 is near the GA apron.
Thanks for viewing. cheers

Thanks TK, Pieter, Tony and Mir. Flying the Learjets is totally awesome, especially true when u get to land in YBBN and with the big boys.
Jetstar 'Gold Coast Titans' VH-VQP captured during my last week in MCY.
Thanks for viewing. More later. Cheers

Nice pic there !
btw..i'm in YBBN now...any tips on spotting here??
There's one parking area near the perimeter fence of GA apron where one can get some approach and touch down shot on rwy 19. Only good in the afternoon. Heat haze can be a problem.

Awesome, Mir!! All my Singaporean mates are excited about these birds, especially one of my ex-RSAF coursemate who was an instructor on S.211. Thanks for sharing!!

A bizjet for RFDS from Rio Tinto (Australia Mining Giant) is to be expected. It was supposed to be a Learjet 45 according to a news release early this year. But not sure why it's changed to a Hawker 800XP.
Good catch man. And very fast uploaded to A.net already!! Less than 6 hours turn.
Iggy. How long will you be in Perth?
-
Wah ...... what brought IL-96 to Changi?!
Good catch, xu yong!
-
Nice catch ... Greg!
Now please send this baby to MCY before i go back to SGP.

FL440 ? Even higher than a commercial jet flying her.
You sure not flying in a F16 ?
This baby can go up to FL510. I quote "Above all traffics and most weather".
Here's another one. My buddy was busy with briefing while i was busy clicking.
Enjoy. Thanks for viewing.

Sharing a few photos from the GA apron of YBBN.
Always happy to see my fav bizjet - G550 around. (B-KCK)
Saab 340B - a rather popular type among OZ regional airlines and cargo operator.
Another popular type for the smaller operators - Fairchild Metro. This type has some rather infamous nickname like Meatray, Death Tube, Flyin' Cigar, Stick Creature, Death pencil, lawn dart, fright tube etc etc
And two window view photos dedicated to Chaity.
Earth curvature from FL440.
Flying into the sunset.
Enjoy. Thanks for viewing.

Iggy ... you complain often enough that you didn't get C-17s ... yet you got yourself this very rare bird in Perth! Good one!
Now i am itchy to get back to PER for some spotting.

Thanks guys. Glad that i can share some shots from this of the world.
Finally the last of JQ specials captured this afternoon after spending weeks shooting out of my window.

Hey KH. I think that's the main display. The rehearsal was on friday and the actual display was on saturday afternoon.
Ha ... I have no ideas. Flew to Townsville again on 29 Sept. While T-birds and KC-10 tanker were gone, the two C17s were still there.
Sharing something closer to home. Introducing the 'Missionator'!!! Not the most pretty aircraft of the lot, but i think the decal is pretty cool. Thanks Liam for the info and the kind people of Aeromil Pacific.
This Beech 1900D demonstrator is on tour in Australia as part of a world-wide tour. The arrival of 'Missionator' is also coincide with the Regional Aviation Association of Australia (RAAA)convention being held at Hyatt Regency Coolum, Sunshine Coast.
And here's some side catches.
One pretty mean looking and fast aircraft - Cessna Citation X (VH_XCJ).
Citation VII (VH_LYM)
Fairchild Metro IV (VH_TAG)
And attendees of the convention were entertained with the low pass of a P-51 Mustang and Fokker 100. But unfortunately sun already set at the time of the low fly-pass.
VH-FKA from Alliance did the honour. Pretty impressive to see it bout 100ft off the ground.
Thanks for viewing. Enjoy.
