Norman 1 Report post Posted January 1, 2008 I'm creating a new topic for spotting in Penang for this new year (& I guess should be for other long threads too....) Together with my significant other and also with Nizam I stayed at the normal morning spotting location near the Rapid Penang bus stop from 0830 till 1110 on the first day of 2008... First captured was this UPS carrier (from KUL, I guessed...) Adam Air also dropped by as usual... The resident airliner.... "Kune-kune"... and we saw her 3 approaches today... Haven't seen her for quite sometime... glad she also dropped by.. Oh... ya... weather was "Heliconia" for most of the morning.. Cargoes are major player in PEN traffic... apart from UPS above Air Hong Kong FedEX.. Asiana (but in dirty old color ) Eva Air CARGO... and Korean Cargo... BUT my best catch to day is the Holy Smoke- Air Batu Campur Right view Left view thanks for coming to PEN and hope to see you again in KUL soon... Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

The Front Desk Manager of 'Bus Stop' Spot Location... talking to a local... Some close up when I can't switch to kit lens... LeeCH's colleague...
