So whats a BA A380 doing in KUL parked at the remote bay? Doesnt seem to be much activity going around it so cant possibly be a weather diversion from SIN, or was it ...?

According to The BA Source and flightradar24.com: It positioned from Manila as BA9172.

I am assuming it went to Manila for Maintenance (as QF also sends its A380s there).  According to the BA source, it went to KL for further maintenance.

Aircraft is G-XLEC.

So quick ? Could it be there was a flickering light bulb in the lavatory that needed seeing to ?  :)

Maybe the Malaysians are world renowned experts in changing pesky flickering light bulbs and the Filipinos are just not there yet ...

Maybe there is no parking space in SIN and KUL also has lower parking charges?

Still serving, load is pretty good also due to low density seating and very premium focussed marketing. Though im not a fan of the weird business class seating arrangement.
