JuliusWong 0 Report post Posted October 29, 2015 SEPANG, Oct 29, 2015: The trend for international companies making Malaysia as home bases to expand their business growth in Asia Pacific region has started again. This week alone, two international giants – New Zealand’s consumer dairy producer Fonterra and America’s Kellogg Company – announced the opening of new bases in Malaysia. Following this trend is aircraft manufacturer Airbus SA – with the launch of its fifth customer service centre in Sepang. The new facility, 100%-owned by Airbus, will provide 24/7 specialised major aircraft engineering and repair design services to its customers in Malaysia, Asia Pacific and also worldwide. The portfolio of services offered will encompass the complete range of Airbus products with a significant focus on the Airbus A380 and the new A350 XWB (extra wide-body). Other Airbus facilities that provide the same services are in Toulouse, Hamburg, Wichita and Beijing.
