Fitri Shukri 0 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 Congratulation JonKong, Norman and Raymond . I like the most is Raymond photo of Rajang River's ferry. MW is making a present everywhere. And DCM is my favourite Malaysia based photography magazine. Nice to see non DSLR photos winning too... It really is a magazine written by photographer for photographer. Some other magazine focus too much on equipment (because they are written by geeks and techies rather than real photographers). However, as in Perlis, its also hard to find it in Penang. Luckily I drive to KL nearly once or twice a week.

Norman 1 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 I believe there were a few others who won Jk is one of them hehe.. Only one winner... Megat Arizal who tied his D70 to his Cefiro's sunroof and shot himself while drifting. He used the 10.5mm fisheye lens for the winning shot. The rest of us were, shall we say, "commended" to printed and without any prize. But to me... you pix been printed in a magazine is a good enough prize for an amatuer photographer... Radzi 2 Report post Posted June 5, 2006 Just for info, Megat Arizal is also an aviator with MAS, although his passion is with racing cars. He was once featured in a local newspaper about his motorsport activity. Anyway, congratulations to our members here. We are good!!!

Raymond Ngu 0 Report post Posted June 6, 2006 Congratulation to all 3 jokers... Raymond, was that our ferry trip crossing the river??? TK, The ferry that we cross together was smaller and it's at Durin ferry point. This one was a bigger ferry at Lanang ferry point, which is now closed. The shot is taken one week before the ferry operation ceased permanently due to the completion of the bridge.
