allan 0 Report post Posted June 19, 2010 According to md-eleven.net, Air Asia once operated some MD-11s for the Hajj charters: http://md-eleven.net/Operators-Historical-A-L However, I could not find any pic of the plane described on that page. Would anyone know where I could find one? Thanks!
Radzi 2 Report post Posted June 19, 2010 To my knowledge MH didn't operate the Hajj for 6 years; 3 years went to Transmile while the other 3 were operated by Air Asia. All those years I believe the flights were operated by chartered B742s. If any Hajj flights were ever operated by MD-11s, they must be by World Airways MD-11 when the Hajj was handled by MH before those 6 years.

Tamizi Hj Tamby 1 Report post Posted June 20, 2010 (edited) It's the old AirAsia, which was still under DRB Hicom Group that time. Many company leased N278WA;so it's interesting to see this MD-11 leased to several operators;i.e SonAir,PAL,El Al,and Avianca.
