Spotted 9M-FYA at KBR on 18 August, landed 1230 hours...... probably on a test flight before entering service the following day 19th.

Hi Sufri,
Do you know who operates this Helicopter and how many aircraft do the have?
Also are they based at KBR?

Thanks Louis. I never expected to catch it as its entry into service was only the following day. Heard from folks there that it will be used for some KBR and PEN sectors, so it will be a regular at WMKC from now on.

First of all, I can't locate a thread dedicated to spotting at KBR, so I'm creating a new one here. If it does exist, I don't mind the moderator merge this thread with the original one.

Presenting photos taken on the second day of Ramadhan fasting (2 Sept 08). These were taken immediately after my arrival from SZB on Firefly's fresh from the shop ATR72.

AK morning arrival from KUL

This is what makes KBR's traffic active and interesting

9M-FYA prepare to return to SZB

Not so fast Firefly, let me land first, or better still, do a touch and go

Firefly's ATR-72 showing its clean backside

Ready to roll

Rotate

Bye bye... hope to fly with you again soon...

More to come soon.

Next to terminal, opposite the public parking. Very convenient location, especially for morning spotting. I believe its a location that won't bring the Beredar Team. And no need ladder too (unless you're too short) wink.gif

A normal day at school for these guys/girls

Even vertical lift aircraft had to wait for their turns

Another touch and go. Actually, it was more of touch, minor braking, throttle again, rotate, glide up

Finally MHS turn
