jahur 0 Report post Posted June 21, 2014 Based and operating from Melaka. Interesting, but the current terminal really has limited apron space. One b737/a320 and its pretty much occupied. Also did MAHB rectify the overpriced airport tax in MKZ if not i'll be another goner like Melaka Air and Wings Air. I saw Melaka Air facebook still available: https://www.facebook.com/pages/MELAKA-AIR/299152373476741 but their website will direct you to somewhere else: Website http://www.melakaair.com.my Might be a little unrelated but this was what i saw in Subang air carnival last week. I thought that 9M-MKZ belongs to MAS A330-300, https://www.flickr.com/photos/singapore269/14166000846/in/pool-malaysiaairlines Edited June 21, 2014 by khairuddin abu hanifah

I thought that 9M-MKZ belongs to MAS A330-300, https://www.flickr.com/photos/singapore269/14166000846/in/pool-malaysiaairlines 9M-MKZ was a MAS A330 but it was returned to ILFC in April 1999. Cessna 208B Caravan 9M-MKZ I think has just been registered earlier this year - the earliest sighting I have was back in April but maybe someone here can provide better information. Melaka based airlines seem to come around every two years - Heritage Air 2010, Melaka Air 2012 and now in 2014 Rayani Air. Geoff Edited June 21, 2014 by Geoff R. Lock SH 0 Report post Posted June 22, 2014 Based on the picture, it is configured for carrying passenger . As far as I know, DCA will not allow a single engine aeroplane to be used as a public transport unless it is under 'private' category.
MMLim 0 Report post Posted June 23, 2014 The Caravan was first signed at MKZ back during Mar/Apr, I remember it was initially carrying rego Nxxxxx. A quick check during that time show that the owner is in fact Cessna Corporation. It was moved to the CTRM apron later on, may be get the new paint job done by CTRM.
