Ja Singh 2 Report post Posted October 13, 2018 The aviation industry is very competitive and everyone is looking in every direction to lower cost.If a joint venture 50/50 is set up by these 2 to service/perform heavy checks they will safe a fortune.AK has 22 and MH around 20. Is this possible?whats the odds to achieve this?
flee 5 Report post Posted October 15, 2018 Airasia has sold off its Sepang Aircraft Engineering interest to Airbus. They are building a MRO facility in Thailand. MH A330s use Pratt and Whitney engines while D7 uses Rolls Royce - so engine maintenance has to be different. Verdict: Unlikely.
