Thanks for the info, Norman. Certainly a lot of chances for spotters to catch her. :yahoo:

Here's my catch from the other side of runway

Running a bit late but still better than not coming like the day before :pardon:

 heheeh sorry Radzi for spoiling your side shot... :pardon:

My takes....

We were excited when 'Singapore 3001... clear to land 32L...'

I thought the 'makcik' there also shared our enthusiasm...

9VSKB_15Jan08KUL_3346.jpg

but .... NO.... weeding is more important than this 'noisy another flying object'...

9VSKB_15Jan08KUL_3352.jpg

Standard procedure ka?... #2 & #3 reversers only...

Sharp eyes there, the titles are slightly to the front on the SKB, but the O looks the same in the earlier pics above, it might be optical illusion.. I guess the paintshop chap hit the "Tab" button when printing the singapore airlines title on the fuselage hehehe

Lovely lovely photos! Now made me think of making a quick detour to KLIA first for the 2:20pm flight before signing in to work tomorrow...

Dugong or big white whale.. she looks more like a dolphin to me, especially in the 'makcik' shots.

Thank you to all who posted the pics! :good:

Woah !!! Good to see that the Big Mama landed in KUL in brilliant weather. Back here in SIN, she has to dodge dark clouds, lighting and sheets of rain when she returned from KUL at 1544hrs.

Norman: For one moment, I thought I am seeing an Azahan nose-shot . . .

Let's hope that one of these days, 9V-SKA makes the run to KUL instead. This is the one to catch as it has the "SINGAPORE AIRLINES" title in the wrong position and I am certain that this will be corrected sometime quite soon (perhaps before the A380 enters service in late-February).

I am certain that this weekend, it is going to be quite a crowd . . . and you will be joined by a contingent from the wrong side of the causeway . . . and poor me will have to make the usual midnight dash to KUL for two full days of shooting on Saturday and Sunday.

Meanwhile, hope you guys continue to stake out the A380 daily.

Congratulations to all who have caught her . . . let's see more pics.

Nice Pics everyone!!!

Not standard, she only has reversers for #2 and 3. :-)

Thanks for the clarification tsentsan...

Should or shouldn't we widened the runways & taxiways last year

BTW guys.... please be warned... the schedules are training flights

so they are not restricted to the timings.... :pardon:
