The plane had lined up to land on taxiway instead of runway

Do they have ILS? Localizer? Unless you're coming fully visual this type of mistake is very hard to comprehend.

I think this flight crew will have a lot of explaining to do when they face their supervisors/managers....

Runway 28R KSFO does have ILS. On a clear day with ILS operational, i find it hard to digest what happen.

Seems that Air Canada 759 was on visual approach.

 Still should've tuned the ILS just for reference.
