  1. If my memory serves me right, flights to SBW used to be operated by the 737-500. It seemed that SBW back then could not handle 737-400...that was untill SBW runway was extended and then -400 could operate without restrictions. Then the -500 became redundant and that was why they remove the -500 from MH fleet. Interesting fact, in a water evacuation -400 allow pax to evacuate from the rear doors...but as for the -500, due to the lenght which is shorter, only over wings exits and the front doors are used for evacuation. I hope my facts are right...cheers!
  2. after reading today's Borneo Post about the setting up of an lcct, i agree that there is no need for lcct in east malaysia as a whole. both KIA and KKIA are 2 very modern airports, and they are able to cater for both MH and AK and other international airlines. why the need to waste money to build lcct, if both the modern infrastructures are not being fully utilised. those precious money should be directed to other more beneficial developments of both Sarawak and Sabah. If Mr. Tony is dropping those Macau and Bali flights, why good will the LCCT be then. creating more white elephants.
  3. MH, MI and AK better be careful of this new competition. Jetstar is going to make them run helter skelter for their money. Big hot competition coming right up our alley Kenneth!!! But why KCH is always in the 2nd spot after BKI....hmmmmm
  4. Biz class seats were the same as the Y class. not much difference. I do feel like the cabin crew in the aircraft. Should i sign up with Maswings as a cabin crew? haha
  5. Again, i would add another fantabulous moment of history to my life diary, all thanx to Kenneth Chong Wei Thart, my partner in crime, when it comes to anything to do with aircraft, travel, and anything airliner. My good fren, nobody can pull a surprise as surprising as you. Told you it's worth the wait for almost half hour for Dato' Sri Idris Jala. The whole experience will not be complete without taking photos with him. Dr Amin was a bit 'sombong' lo. Where's the pic of the A330 you took near the tarmac?
