KS Ong 1 Report post Posted May 31, 2017 Pieter C. Alderden, or we fondly call him Uncle Pieter, has passed away today in his home in Netherlands, after battling long illness. A jovial person and loves our tropical sun. One cannot miss his presence in the spotting crowd as he is always turning red under the sun. That's why he was known as the Red Lobster. He was our member #22 and a strong supporter of mwings. For the past 11+ years, he has contributed a lot to the community and hosted some of us in Netherlands. Therefore, in memory of this man, please join me to pay tribute by sharing some of your memorable pictures of him (whether spotting, over dinner, etc) here. Let us not forget our dear friend, Uncle Pieter.
