flee 5 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 Lessor BOC Aviation has signed a purchase agreement with Boeing for six 787-9s, in a deal valued at $1.69 billion at list prices. The company says in a stock exchange disclosure that the aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2018 and 2019. It has also granted an option to an unnamed carrier to either take them on long-term lease or purchase the aircraft outright. The lessor would not identify the airline when contacted by FlightGlobal. flee 5 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 Or... may be for MH?? MH is converting their existing B737 Max order to B789. Not sure if lessors are getting involved at this stage or later. Airasia is already a customer of BoC Aviation. Not sure if MH has taken aircraft from BoC before.
Jeremiah Wong 0 Report post Posted March 30, 2018 Unlikely for two reasons. 1. They’re looking for 78X. 2. Six units order is unjustifiable. Make it fifty.
