Yogyakarta Adisucipto International WARJ/JOG

Once in the waiting-lounge at JOG, you're able to get real nice platform shots :yahoo:

Here are a few I've spotted between 1600-1830 hrs:

Batavia Boeing 737-200 PK-YTV in old-colours...the flight to PNK was cancelled later due to technical issues and an aborted take-off:

If I'd known PK-PFZ also operated the JOG-CGK stretch, I would've choosen this Dutch Lady over the Mad-Dog:

Garuda is the main operator at the airport; only 737-300's were seen (unfortunately):

Was lucky enough to photograph this great looking livery, even after sunset (hence the blurred panning shot):

hmm I think Adam Air's PK-KKT should be ex Turkish Airlines TC-JKT 737-400.

Did not really want to start a new thread for 2016 - so just tag along on this old thread.

Here are some catches from my recent visit to Adi Sutjipto International Airport, Yogyakarta JOG/WARJ.

Wow Flee, good shots.

Indonesian Air Force also arrange a special flypast for you ! :clapping:

Hahaha, yeah they were flying for us when we were there. They also held up our arrival - had to hold before landing while waiting for them to finish their practice. It will be their national day soon.... :)

The departure lounge at Terminal B was pretty good - nice view of the runway and the glass was not reflective - puts many larger airports to shame. Here are a few more catches.

Nice catch from JOG flee; The Batik Air 737 are indeed the gem of all. And all of them is to be transferred to Malindo since they are transitioning to Airbus.
