Media says MAHB do not recognise it as international airport yet as the facilities still do not qualify to be upgraded as international airport, even though AK and MH both provides direct and stopover flights bound for SIN; having international routes do not auto qualify an airport to "international" status....though as a Mirians, would be more than happy to see it being changed to international...
