MH is in shrinking mode. They'll probably axe AMS and CDG, leaving only LHR as the longhaul destination. The next furthest destinations will be JED and AKL, now served by A330.
Some A380 will soldier on to LHR until replaced by A350 sometimes in 2017.
These are the rumors that are making its round, from credible sources.
Very interesting situation.
Based on this, it would appear that AMS and CDG is getting one final chance to be profitable for newco and if things don't work out, the routes will be scrapped.
If the A350 is only going to serve LHR, it will be a small order - maybe 4 or 5 frames.
BTW there are only 6 B777 operating for newco.
