Tokyo-Japang spotting

Recommended Posts

As I was planning some spotting with LeeCH regarding his visit to NRT on last Sunday...

Suddenly got SMS from TK on Thursday late afternoon about his called up for NRT on the same day.

Then we organized HND spotting all togather luckily we had JCAB and JCG openday on Sunday. B)

Full line up for JCAB-Flight Inspection. Gulf4, Saab2000, YS-11.

2 of last remaining CAB YS-11 still looks OK but unfortunately it will be history by end of Nov.

Farewell special message has been applied on fuselage.

S V Choong,

Great you can read Japanese.

"Mo shi mo" means " in case of emergency.

so whole meaning of the sentence is "Dial 118 in case of emergency over the sea"

Yes, Cessna logo is same as Fuji-TV an associated company.

TK, correct newspaper's one Sankei-Newspaper. "産経新聞"

Nose close up for JA8493 Cessna501 22 years old...

Another broadcasting company Mainichi-Newspaper. Euro EC 135-T1.

Thanks for the info Yukihiro, now that explains why it says "mo shi mo" (if). I find Japanese really subtle in expression. I have been studying Japanese for many years and still do!

Thanks for sharing the photos.

CILAKA bro shot me... no shooting...

Perhaps after shooting this guy... N311CG into November bay.

Daylight BIZ arrival... they must have tech stop somewhere in Japan (mostly NRT or KIX)

HND international charter (include BIZ) except HND-GMP shuttle is not allowed when NRT is active (0600-2300L).

YK has to park his "spotting" car a few hundreds meters away from JCAB entrance...while walking, we had to cross a bridge.

and the bridge are decorated with some planes too... :)

Nice one TK.... not a plane to be missed :D

A. Zepplin 1929

B. Mitsubishi Zero abroad aircraft carrier. 1939

C. The Kamikaze 1937 (Suicido plane)

D. YS-11 1962

E. Boeing 747 1965.

In 1965 the B-747 is not even built yet, I think this is either referring to the concept or a genuine mistake.
