Ricky Tiong 0 Report post Posted August 6, 2005 what is that empty patch there towards the north of the terminal building . demolished? 4379[/snapback] I was watching the Extreme Engineering series showing them building the new VHHH. I think it's just some land they never used when finished building. Maybe for a future terminal perhaps. Anyone know that empty spot is used for? S V Choong 4 Report post Posted August 6, 2005 I think it is reserved for future terminal, you are right! Not sure if there's ever an architect's impression of future terminal outthere.

Teoh Z Yao 0 Report post Posted August 8, 2005 When doing simulation into VHHH 7R, I notice a very tall red pole at the end of the blast-pad. Is it really there? I think it is dangerous; any plane too low on approach can hit it... Any other examples of airports with such thing hanging around?
