Nice Nick :good:

White is nice... great background :clapping:

However... size of images is a bit over.. :nea:

maybe could resize

Thanks. I prefer to upload images at this size to allow viewers to appreciate the beauty of the aircraft rather than having them squinting their eyes at something set at 600 * 400.

One word to describe, AMAZING !

Thanks.

Nice pics there, the WHITE should be operating for Air Niugini, as it fly to HKG as well, once a week.

superb nick c :good: , the white not bad :D

Thanks.

Yup. It was heading for Brisbane.

Unfortunately if you examine the fuselage closely you will notice it's somewhat noisy. Not really good on exposure.

Nick, nice photos from YSSY. A question though. What is your ISO setting for all the shots above? Cannot quite believe MKII has such number of noise there.

Is all the spotting locations easily accessible or you are shooting from airside? If it is easily accessible I may request a trip down under then. Thanks.

1D mk II + 200mm 2.8 Prime .. Yikes ... Razor sharp

Too sharp when I have to shoot models. Too much details. I can see the facial hair :yahoo:

Thanks Chee Hong! ISO 200. It's quite noisy from the pulling in Camera Raw to boost the colours due to the incredibly bad weather we had that day.

Do make a trip to Sydney! Excellent spotting here. No harassment at YSSY from the police unlike WSSS. You need a car to get to the spotting locations though.

OK thats great since we do B77W runs down south these days. Will work it out but I will try to avoid winter months. Probably in late Oct or Nov when it is CAVOK and I will be there with a request for the rostering department. Cheers!

You will have lots of flies accompanying you in late Oct/Nov :D

September? Possible. Can be arranged. So when will be the best time for CAVOK yet little or no flies at all?

Sydney weather is rather unpredictable. It has been CAVOK for the past week but the previous week was BAD!

I would say Late February to Early April & Last August - Early October will be the best times to spot with CAVOK.

would it be possible to spot from the terminal, Nick? is there any nice place to spot a/c from inside the terminal building itself?

I miss spotting near the Tower...still has high ground there?

Nice

Not high enough now. They installed new lighting poles which blocks an unobstructed view of 16R.

There's an observation deck but good enough for casual viewing and not photography.
