Aaron Goh 1 Report post Posted September 14, 2006 Hi, first post of pic here, thought might be appropriate since talking about small strip. No need to guess this on.
Radzi 2 Report post Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) Hmm, Aaron, that is not Malaysia, right? Australia? When flying above Australia there is a game you can play to kill time, called 'spot the airfield'. When flying over the outbacks, try to locate a rown or house. Then try to locate the airstrip associated with it. Chances are every farm, ranch or town will have an airstrip nearby. That is their only practical way of those people to travel in and out. As for the original airfield in this thread, I want to give everybody the chance to try. So I'm not going to reveal the answer yet. Mohd Idham 0 Report post Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) Taiping So many 'bekas lombong' around... Iggy, UTM doesn't have any airstrip inside our campus.. But, it is located at Mersing. If that is ours, then you can see the beach.. http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=5616383 Edited September 14, 2006 by Mohd Idham

Aaron Goh 1 Report post Posted September 14, 2006 (edited) Taiping, how come the middle looks like scrapped off? become dirt runway already kah?> Capt. Radzi, Yes, the dirt strip is in Australia. There's so many of em' here. Well, as for spotting houses, we don't really do that, but trying to spot antennas and repeater stations is already making my eyes blur.
