A P&S like the Ixus can still takes great pictures...

Eventhough you might not be able to shoot the airdisplay properly,

but you can do wonders with the static display...

Try to shoot at Odd angles... not the normal 'tourist' angle for those statics...

You'll be amazed...

Good luck, Doc... awaiting some great shots from your Ixus-in-Farnborough...

Dr,

You aware of the "Insert Image" button I assume ?

insertimage.jpg

Makes life a heck lot easier for lazy buggers not unlike yours truly :)

Btw, the "little child abandoned in candy store" sentiment prevailed at Farnborough ?

Thanks for the pics :drinks:

The dugong looks menacing even from inside the pavillion !

Learned Qatar has purchased 2 C17's Globemaster 3 aircraft recently, and has become the 5th operator of the type after USA, UK, Australia and Canada :good:

Doc... hope you don't mind that I edited your post by direct linking the images to your post...

what I did was adding the code >
and ending it with <b>...

like ...

Or you just click the last row of urls under each picture in photobucket,

it will automatically copy to your clipboard, then in the reply window,

you just paste the link... inclusive of tagging codes...

Anyway... great pictures there...

oh btw... maybe the last few pictures need to be resize to lower width...

you can do that automatically in photobucket by click on 'edit' on particular image,

then you'll see a 'resize' button to resize to desired width... suggest 800x600...

Waiting for more...

Marvellous pictures Izanee. I particularly like the one of the C-17 with the acrobatic display in the background. Lovely!

Nevermind the compact IXUS camera. The fact that you were there to see it live is all that matters.

Thanks for sharing :)
