My camera is just an ixus so i won't be ablt to take great pics like u guys.... I'll try my very best to get the photos in ASAP. A P&S like the Ixus can still takes great pictures... Eventhough you might not be able to shoot the airdisplay properly, but you can do wonders with the static display... Try to shoot at Odd angles... not the normal 'tourist' angle for those statics... You'll be amazed... Good luck, Doc... awaiting some great shots from your Ixus-in-Farnborough...

Izanee 0 Report post Posted July 22, 2008 (edited) Hi Guys and girls...i've uploaded my photos on photobucket. Here's the link: A380 from inside the pavillion Good ol' USAF Rolls Royce engine Guess what?? Raptor! Guess who?? C-17...all the way from Washington! What a nice ass..er..i mean...aircraft Mana EK???? For Imran! Potential buy for RMAF Not that interested in corporate jets but here's a pic anyways! Acrobatic team...can't remember which one - they were flying some sort of Yaks from the 70s Looks like a sniper on the roof All the girls were swooning over him....fair enough la. Lucky he didn't send me to Guantanamo... The Hornet is back with a vengeance! SAAB Display F16 jet engine! All modern avionics for the C130J (apparently more modern than the C17) C130J flight deck! C17 with a lovely acrobatic display in the background Edited July 23, 2008 by Norman Edited by 'correcting' the tagging for image links
BC Tam 2 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 (edited) Dr, You aware of the "Insert Image" button I assume ? Makes life a heck lot easier for lazy buggers not unlike yours truly Btw, the "little child abandoned in candy store" sentiment prevailed at Farnborough ? Thanks for the pics The dugong looks menacing even from inside the pavillion ! Edited July 23, 2008 by BC Tam
Walter Sim 1 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 Dr Izanee, insert the link between the tag, you can embed the pic here. Thanks for the pictures ! Hope i was there @@

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e90/izan...ough2008145.jpg Learned Qatar has purchased 2 C17's Globemaster 3 aircraft recently, and has become the 5th operator of the type after USA, UK, Australia and Canada
Norman 1 Report post Posted July 23, 2008 Doc... hope you don't mind that I edited your post by direct linking the images to your post... what I did was adding the code ... like ... Or you just click the last row of urls under each picture in photobucket, it will automatically copy to your clipboard, then in the reply window, you just paste the link... inclusive of tagging codes... Anyway... great pictures there... oh btw... maybe the last few pictures need to be resize to lower width... you can do that automatically in photobucket by click on 'edit' on particular image, then you'll see a 'resize' button to resize to desired width... suggest 800x600... Waiting for more...

Rozhan 0 Report post Posted July 24, 2008 Marvellous pictures Izanee. I particularly like the one of the C-17 with the acrobatic display in the background. Lovely! Nevermind the compact IXUS camera. The fact that you were there to see it live is all that matters. Thanks for sharing
