Chaity 1 Report post Posted June 29, 2008 My heartiest congratulations to Malaysian Wings on the occasion of its 3rd anniversary. Certainly a unified group brimming with solidarity . PS Nice mineral water, Chaity. Is that from Carrefour? Had a ton of fun yesterday starting from 0700 to 2115. Long day but didn't seem enough. Happy to see some old faces and a lot more new faces too. Irni, thanks for starting the thread and be with the bunch of jokers early without sleep the night before. Fablee, you were right. I just grabbed a box of mineral water from Carrefour. Damn heavy too. Ah Kong, Ah Kong, you had all the plots in your head when you take those photos. Luckily I didn't join you guys for the cards games. He he ! Iggy and Denny, you missed a lot of fun this year. Plan for next year OK ? As for Pieter, perhaps he would get his D50 waiting at home once he gets back. If not, time for a new DSLR. Walter, thanks for your photos. That reminded me to collect money from Kong Kong for riding wooden horse. Simon, your plane shots are OK. MASkargo shot just needed some cropping to balance the photo. Colors and contrast look OK. Well done considering this is your 1st try with your DSLR. I will post some photos later after sorting them out.

Really want to know the D60 current price (Maybe i could look for the 2nd hand in couple of years later) Thanks Tamizi. The D60 comes with standard kit lens 18-55mm and i opt for 70-300mm + 4GB memory card. It cost RM4.2K which is quite high

Chaity 1 Report post Posted June 29, 2008 Airplane models also ngam for the spotters Simon, those are rare aircraft to catch in KUL. Sure KUL plane spotters clicking non stop. Early morning at Weather Station. MWings car park committees were busy performing their duties while no planes to spot. Parking attendants Victor and Ibrahim directing traffic while supervisor Walter observing them. Weather Station Parking Director Irni to ensure a smooth operation and keep track of collections too. BTW, parking charges of RM5 is way too cheap. If Pieter were to be there, he would charge 5 Euro. Weather Station wasn't a good choice for morning spotting but Kong Kong Airlines is too tempting for us to miss. Irni, this is for you. Only on a calm morning will get a good reflection.
