Andrew K 0 Report post Posted April 19, 2008 Sydney! Gate 51. Is that the only gate MH uses? havent seen any other photo of an MH bird at a diff gate. If you can spot them, you can also find MH birds on google earth at Auckland and London.
Sanjay Thaker 0 Report post Posted April 20, 2008 Single gate at SYD? Wow, embarkation and disembarkation must be taking quite some time.
Ryan Soh 3 Report post Posted April 21, 2008 Yes for such a busy international airport like SYD, it is surprising they still use these one-tiered gates, and to make matters worse, the bulk of the international flights that come into SYD are widebodies. And now they went from that to a 3-fingered one for SQ's A380 ops! How's that for a jump?
Nick C 0 Report post Posted April 21, 2008 SYD is one of the airports I dread. Even LHR T3 ranks higher than SYD. Customs is incredibly slow and they have only just introduced fast track on a 6mth trial. Other airports have been doing it for years. Further more, SIA ground staff are one of the worst ones I have ever encountered. Snobbish and unwilling to go beyond the mile of doing a change of seats. Spoke to the station manager about it and the change was done.
