But let the viewers enjoy yours first. I shall put in mine once you have completed. Good aerial shots, Azahan. That T5 BA BA shot is just No. 1 Chaity, I was big time lucky. Good rare weather for spotting. Plus to end my trip on a good note, the rain stopped just before I departed on the 1700 flight to FRA, resulting in clear view of Heathrow.... Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted October 10, 2009 (edited) Just a few nice ones from LHR during my 1 hour transit on my way from AMS to LAX, and my 1 hour transit on my way from SFO to AMS Most of them taken trough A/C window, resulting in poor quality You see AC 77W takeoff in background? Didnt knew these guys were still flying LHR, probaly a visit by Phillipine Gvmnt? Iberia having new stickers on A/C. Olympics? Talking about Olympic here that one is. Sending Airbus to LHR, Airbus is replacing Boeing 737s in their fleet Big boy going back to SIN and Down Under (SYD) as QF 32 I believe. SQ 388 just departed to SIN and EK 388 just came in Delta B764 in NC Another special livery And finally Concorde! Is she in maintenance? Isnt it that someone from U.A.E. is paying its parking fees and maintenance, because they want to ferry it (on own power!) to Dubai someday? Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted October 10, 2009 Interesting shots, CeeBee: you are always so lucky with 'the specials'... VI only on the left-side above the cockpit ? PR most probably a presidential/state visit flight; normally, they don't operate to LON anymore... IB: yep, Olympic Games, which they lost to Brazil... AA Silver Bullet: how lucky you are... Great selection of planes/aircraft - this is typical for LHR; taken after a small walk from nearby Hatton-Cross station, right ? Thanks! I have more photos including SQ 380 and QF A380. Walter: Photos taken at 27L, near to Hatton Cross, just after the petrol kisok, at a park. I have some photos earlier, those are taken at 27R, found a spot at a residential area, near Parkway. Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 (edited) Again some shots from LHR LHR is also interesting for contrailspotting. 2 LH from Germany to USA, 340 / 747 KLM MD11 on her way to Caribbean Martinair Retrobird from Dominican Republic or Orlando to Amsterdam MAS 9M-MPM on downwind to 09R arrival together with another 747 in hold Now traffic at the airport. 2nd picture of the day US Airways new A332 Footbalnose on a BA Airbus A380 from DXB, LHR now handles 4 scheduled 388 flights a day (2x SQ, 1x QF, 1x EK) KU 772 operating KWI-LHR-JFK I believe Biman 772 PK 772 in NC Arik Air replaced the A345 by B738, 340 now operating JFK I think? Oman puts A333 into LHR, only knew they had 332, but also 333! Awesome! Day 2: Early morning arrivals! Heavy! Edited May 27, 2010 by Cornelis Boersma

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted May 27, 2010 Fantastic, Cornelis !!! Good variety of airlines and aircraft as well as good weather for photography !!! For me, Arik would be the highlight: you wouldn't see 737's of them regularly overhere... LHR is definitely a spotter's heaven
