Tony 1 Report post Posted June 9, 2010 Ashmil, it depends on the guys patrolling the area on the day. Some of them shoo people away, but most of them usually stop their car and have a chat to find out what you're doing - like making sure you're not going to cut the fence or climb over it etc.

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted June 24, 2010 Congrats, Kian !!! Last Qantas seems to have an odd kangaroo on the tail, compared to the others (although also new titles)...
kianhong 0 Report post Posted June 24, 2010 Thanks guys! Thank you very much for the compliments and encouragement n of course the clicks! Remember... you guys saw it first on Mwings. Cheers Congrats, Kian !!! Last Qantas seems to have an odd kangaroo on the tail, compared to the others (although also new titles)... The first three (from foreground) kangaroos: VH-OGS(B763), VH-OEB(B744), VH-OQE (A388) all have new kangaroos n new titles. Except VH-OJN (B744) which is background blocked by the blunder bus. hehehe... Huge tail of A388 compared to B744.

B737-300 VH-NLK http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v485/kianhong/2010/VH-NLK_YSSY_300510.jpg[/img] As Norfolk Air only has a single aircraft in their fleet, I'd say this was one lucky shot!! CB!!!... Ignatius 4 Report post Posted October 31, 2010 Wont it be a lot easier to just buy one there and later sell at to the local spotters at a price they'd willing to pay?

Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Thx for comments guys! Appreciated SYD part#2 Anyone why the left main gear isnt like the right one and like you mostly see it? She aborted her takeoff roll an hour b4, returned to the gate and in 2nd attempt no problems anymore, just this landing gear. Far from home! But heard from MIR she is being leased by an Australian cargo company to replace the 727.

Tony 1 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 Far from home! But heard from MIR she is being leased by an Australian cargo company to replace the 727. You're right. Leased by Tasman Cargo Airlines to operate for DHL Express AU. Another workhorse in the shed.
Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted November 3, 2010 (edited) Air Niugini !!! This was PX2. Well.. there's a story about PX! The 757 was duo to come in the evening before @ 6.55 PM. Then At 7.15 PM I requested her ETA from SYD Website; it's saying ETA: 7.35. Then @ 8 PM no PX 1 Sun was set @ 7 PM so also bad light conditions... in Hotel I saw @ flightarrivals PX 1 CANCELLED! I wonder why they then first show an ETA on a CANCELLED flight? Sad I missed the 757 But still very happy with this one IF there wasnt a 767 arrival on the screens, and PX1 got cancelled.. Then.. I wonder.. Where has this 767 come from? Edited November 3, 2010 by Cornelis Boersma
MIR 2 Report post Posted November 4, 2010 Far from home! But heard from MIR she is being leased by an Australian cargo company to replace the 727. You're right. Leased by Tasman Cargo Airlines to operate for DHL Express AU. Another workhorse in the shed. Reported that Tasman Cargo is leasing the B757SF(G-BMRJ) from DHL Air (UK) for a short term only until they receive their own B757. Tasman Cargo's last B727(VH-DHE) ended service on 31/08/10. Noisy B727s are now banned from Australian airspace starting 1/09/10. G-BMRJ entered service with Tasman cargo on 01/09/10 operating AKL-SYD-AKL.
