A few more shots from Media Day on 18 February 2008.

 

B-1B is nicely tucked in an area that also houses a pair of F-15s, an F-16, a C-130J and a KC-135.

 

Earlier in the morning, the KC-135 was towed into the static park. This is seemingly an elderly bird from 1958!

 

Advance Aviation of Thailand owns this beauty, seen here landing late in the afternoon. Andrew and I nearly got washed away by the downwash.

 

This Korean Aerospace Industry's (KAI) A-50 is bidding for the RSAF contract and competing against the M-346 from Aermacchi. The folks looking after the plane win hands-down for diplomacy. Having now seen how beautifully it flies, I hope it wins the contract.
