TK 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 hey hey...thats how the swedes says hello.. at last..after 10 days, im back in KUL. KUL-ARN......big Ben was on board my flight...no chance to take him into the cockpit...sorry.. arrival ARN, few new friends (local spotter) knew that i am coming... visibility was bad for approach... but still good for some photo shoot...not by me...its by the local spotter...in the cold swedish winter. 7 degrees celcius!! always say hello to the local spotter...they sure get you some how through their lens!!! i was the Team B working...meaning to say...after take off from KUL.. i will have the first rest. Then work somewhere over Pakistan up until an hour before landing when the one does the take off will come back from their rest for landing. 4 Pilots...2 Captains and 2 First officer. or all 4 captains also can...some of them have to be on the right seat...to act as a first officer. even they are a Captain, but not for the flight. TK 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 thats it...its me on the number 3 cockpit window... i was on the jump seat....looking out, there this small observation hill...(they have such hill too).......saw a guy with camera...later that i know it was Andreas...a teenage school boy...waiting for my arrival. weather was so bad, that he could barely see us on approach,,,all he knew was ......." malaysian 90 clear to land........" the next thing is the sound of a triple......then some blinking lights inside the low clouds. while taxi on 'whiskey'...he nailed me by the window.... ha ha... i met the local spotters after my return from EWR....nice people. TK 0 Report post Posted November 14, 2005 Just another day........................ continue some of my trips i had last few weeks... 2 days before Raya...i had to do KUL-PVG, MH 388. early morning.... number 3 for take off..... never like the smell of another aircraft exhaust fumes... but then, a beauty of an Airbus from the back...enough of side shot of her.... Look at the fine lines of the flaps....airbus style. then it his turn to line up...phew...faster lah....... aaaahhhhhhh.....a runway to myself. ..."...hello tower...i already ready one....lets go..lets go llaaaaarrrrr........."" had to wait 2 minutes, wake turbulence of the SriLankan...can still see him climbing..
