Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 Some real nice HV "promotional" shots there CeeBee... Did you also see PH-XRV in action ? She was flying for KLC yesterday, due to aircraft shortages (see all the KLC aircraft at the hangar ) The 4-in-1 picture is quite typical, guys: yes, in can be quite this busy here too, not just like at LHR Love the CSA old-livery a lot better than the new one... Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 Guys, Arrived just in time at the airport, to take a final shot of TF-LLA, less than 1 hour before her delivery-flight as ICE8803 to Keflavik/Iceland Nose is in the shadow of the big Hangar 14, while her beautiful tail is illuminated by the rising sun... Once the paint-bay was cleared by TF-LLA, it was TF-FIR's turn Here she is seen 5 minutes after arrival from Keflavik as ICE6002 Hope to keep track of this bird in the coming days
Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted April 23, 2008 (edited) Nice ones uncle Pieter! Where the FIR is going to be leased to? Niugini as well? Also has something to do with why I saw TF-FII in HKG last month? Glad I got FIR with white belly a couple of times over the last past years! Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted April 24, 2008 (edited) Pieter, AWESOME!!! Cornelis, i'll try to give you a brief summary of why you saw TF-FII opf PX. 1. 763 P2-ANG lease coming to an end, PX sources a BI machine (believed to have been V8-RBG) 2. BI have trouble with getting 777's online, cancel contract with PX 3. PX return P2-ANG, as NZ (was former ZK-NCE) have leased to PLUNA as CX-PUG 4. PX then forced to lease in a/c. White Airlines A310 CS-TDI comes along. 5. PX then find new 763 (in form of TF-LLA) but is months from being ready 6. FI then agree to ops 752 TF-FIS on PX's behalf to cover the gap 7. TF-FIS needs major check, so recently TF-FII took her place 8. TF-LLA now nearing delivery, everything is going well 9. PX just sign for a couple of dreamliners! Hope you followed, thats roughly what went on... Edited April 24, 2008 by Liam Gibb

For example the place where the jack holds up the plane. Anything interesting will do. Hehe! But it all depends, just if allowed.

Cornelis Boersma 0 Report post Posted May 3, 2008 Again to AMS today for some special ones! First starting with a nice B738. The previous time I saw here I guess she was in MAS colors. Or that was OK-TVD. Not sure. Saw 1 out of 2 in KL in 2005. Here I guess the last remaining A300-200 of Onur Air. Wearing Saudi dress. Some Onur machines are leased out to Saudi in winterseason. Air Slovakia 752. Chasing her for 3 years now. Finally she is doing a visit to AMS instead of my going to Slovakia for her Yes got to the best spot of AMS again today as it's still allowed to observe aviation there! Starting with famous tower backdrop. And of course some freighters taxiing in and out very close! 2 waving pilots! Really amazing we are going to miss this in the near future Delta 752. Started to fly into AMS from yesterday. So 2nd time the 752 visits AMS (maybe long time ago in the past I dunno). And again Slovakia from other angle (Sleepterrein Pieter). Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted May 5, 2008 Twinsisters: and 'little brother' all operated by Netjets: hint...hint...for uncle Norman: look to the right of the picture one more week, and 'city of seoul' should be able to test-fly and return to duty: Gibby: what do you prefer, your 'ancient' 604 or this one ? Futura titles removed, she's sunbathing outside Hangar 10: Last checks before flying back to the UK; this registration had been used on a Viscount before, if I recall correctly... <_>
