are there oportunity of this airport be open for commercial flight? firefly maybe?

Butterworth AFB is 1 of 3 fully military airbase in the country that is definitely a NO-NO for commercial flight.

I believe Ipoh no longer has training school. All operation moved to Langkawi airport already.

Aussie Wedgetails are a common sight at Butterworth. I often see them passing through Darwin on their way

Thanks guys! :)

Mdsaleh, usually it will head back straight to Australia, non-stop.But this time, who knows ....SZB is full of surprises.

TK, I'm not sure what's the name of the exercise. Exercise Bersama Shield 2012 and Exercise Suman Protector already concluded this year. It is just labeled as Joint Targeting Course (JTC) in the 2012-2013 training plan.
