Wow, like rocket up to the sky? How many degree angle??

:) Certainly not as 'quah cheong' as per Sam's imagination !

I would have no idea as to the angle of attack - also driving at that time. All blur-blur lah ! :pardon:

AWESOME PICS SAM!!! Man the G550 is one sexy bird (and Pieter take note: maybe even more so than my little CL604!)! Can't wait for the new G650 to roll out of the hangar for the first time.

Lee,

Good to see you're so thrilled about the Fokker F28...it's really her Canadian sister

Mike-Mike-Charlie is in a bad need of a wash or new paint...

Ewan,

Doesn't Golf-Golf really look graceful this way ? :pardon:

Wow, some really big changes goin' on at BKI airport now...these spotting places still available in about 4-5 weeks from now ?

Uncle Pieter C

Thank you for the clarification on Fokker F28.

Definitely some of these aircraft need some make-over.

Hopefully in times to come, we may be able to find new spotting areas to replace those removed. Will keep members posted on this.

LeeJH

Congrats ... Hehe ... Did you just got yourself the Canon EF 70-300mm F4-5.6 IS USM?

I'm using one too as well as another MWings member - Chaity. IS is awesome!

IMO, it is sharpest at 200mm + F8. Any mm beyond 200mm, image will appear soft.

Thanks for sharing all the BKI photos here.

Kianhong,

Yes, that's the one. Bought it online from www.shashinki.com.

So far I am not able to get any sharp image. Is that what you mean by "appear soft "?

Will keep on experimenting till it burns out..hahahahaha.

Thanks for the tips.

That's a good lens, but need to know how to use it. May be you should experimenting with 150, 200, 300mm with F8 on a static subject and evaluate the results.

I usually put my dslr on Aperture Priority with F8 when plane spotting. Give me good results so far.
