Isaac 0 Report post Posted April 30, 2008 Road leading to Golden Hill Garden where the station on the hill is located. My dad bought a house here 2 years ago, an intermediate unit. The OC for Phase 1B was obtained 3 months ago. Many of the houses are still vacant. So i will only move in around July or August this year. Didn't know behind the hill will be such a good spotting spot. The hill is so steep. How did you manage to get up there ? It certainly is a very good spotting spot but i doubt there is anybody just as adventurous as you to climb up there Nice pictures from you again ! Can't wait to see more ! leejauhi 0 Report post Posted May 1, 2008 fresh kind of shot from bki , this pic would be my fav .......great effort of climbing up the hill Louis I had scaled Mt Kinabalu 8 times so this was really no sweat for me at all. Besides I do help to maintain the jungle treks at Bukit Padang which is behind Tun Fuad Park, Kota Kinabalu. I get all the exercise I need. ljh, you missed MH51 from KIX, arrived around 1520. touch down on runway 20. TK I guess it's all about timing. Maybe better luck next time. Lee, looks like you will need a more powerful zoom lens larr (for shooting from the hill top) I salute you! Truly amazing! Andi C I am acquiring 1 Canon 70-300mm IS USM telephoto zooms lens from Shashanki for MYR2,195.00 Hope to receive it soon. lee, i can imagine that if you have that 100-400mm along with you, those pictures from that hill will turn out excellent!! Ian Will try it out once I get my new 70-300mm lens next week.

Ignatius 4 Report post Posted May 1, 2008 Will try it out once I get my new 70-300mm lens next week. Lee, I dont think that extra 100mm out of the 70-300 will do much good in sense of zooming .. u need at least 400mm to make a difference... maybe u can attach it to a teleconverter 1.5 - 2.0.. that would be great but image would be softer lah hehehe

Too bad this teleconverter will not fit to the new lens. Just have to make do with whatever I have and improve on the techniques, of which I need guidance from all you "sifus". This morning I went spotting with Sam and Meor both of whom I met for the first time. All pics are on airplanes' rotation and climb. ...to be continued.....
