it's not the rembau air carnival but the ns air carnival, to be held on the 16-18th of november in nilai 3 as usual. but i heard lately that it's only to be held on one day that is on the 17th. maybe someone can shed some light?

The road previously used as runway is no longer usable as it is now lined with shops and lampposts. Don't hink it can be held at Nilai 3 anymore.

BTW, I don't know what Joule is gonna say since his photos is posted in MW. I hope he is okay about it. Yeah I know... old story in the preMW days.

Latest news! Saadiah is right, it will be held in Rembau. The Chembong Industrial Park it is from 17th to 18th November 2007. Too bad I cannot make it.

Confirmed I think. Read Utusan Malaysia yesterday (8 November 2007 - Deepavali Day).

Ibrahim, from PD senang je (easy). Go south (Melaka way) from your Poly and look directions for the PLUS highway or Rembau town. Remember at Liggi town turn right (3 o'clock), otherwise you'll go to Seremban. Before Lubuk Cina turn left (9 o'clock) otherwise you'll end up in Melaka.

 

Go below the actual highway at Pedas - Linggi interchange. Then look for directions to Rembau town.

Now come the tricky part a bit. When you meet a simpang empat (with traffic lights I think) you can either proceed to Rembau town (3 o'clock) or Pedas town (12 o'clock). If you choose 3 o'clock, when you reach a T junction (with a traffic light I'm sure) turn left to Seremban. About 200 metres you'll meet another traffic light. There turn right to Chembong Industrial Park.

If you choose 12 o'clock turn right to Rembau town the moment you reach the T jucntion near Pedas town (no traffic lights here AFAIK). Then turn left at the next traffic light.

Thought of going for the carnival,

but suddenly this weekend becomes very busy for me...

had to miss this one ...

Couple of my friends will be doing demonstration flights at the carnival with the Long EZ scale model RC aircraft.

 

The aircraft is a 'Malaysia Boleh' conversion, originally designed to be powered by a pusher piston engine. Conversion to turbine power was done locally and about 5 units have been sold locally, at about RM13K per unit.
