Apologies for the low resolution and out-of-focus pic. I'm using an 18-55mm lens and also a beginner in DSLR photography. Unknown livery.

Hi Syafiq! That would be a Jet Airways B737-800.

Hi, does anyone know if you are able to spot safely past the bridge towards LCCT? I think it's past the ERL train lines and after a turn-off to a kampung. Any samples of departing a/c from that location?

Thanks

you mean beside lake that abeam 14L approach light?:)

Hi everyone,

I've been browsing through your site - there are some very nice pics!

The classic question: is spotting at KLIA (apart of the observation deck) still so restricted? I'll be in KL for a few days in August and wondered if there is any chance to have some decent photos.

I'm a member of Romanian Spotters.

Thanks,

Mihai

Hello everybody,

I am a new member here. There are so many different places that you guys suggested. Could you kindly tell me which is the best place to spot. A place where I can hear the roaring engines and the smoke. Thanks.:)

hello everyone~

i am completely new here, and this is my 1st post in this forum,

would like to know if its safe to go there?

like, is it a restricted area?

can anyone go there jsut to snap pic? :)

Hi Diana... welcome to Malaysianwings

Yes.. it is safe to go to KLIA... but unfortunately it is not allowed to do spotting by the perimeter fence

or on the purposely-built "Observation Hill" which is now a prohibited place.
