I remembered back in early 80's, flight from Prestwick, Scotland to New York only 99pound,

in L1011/DC10 of Laker's Airways... :)

 

Great shots of the AK-X A330, Norman; you were able to 'shoot' a new aircraft for a Malaysian airline at the same date/time as I was able to for a new aircraft of a Dutch airline (although in AF colours)... :pardon:

 

AFAIK, Laker Airways never operated the L1011, but the DC-10-10/30 as a tri-jet only :pardon:

Other types were Bac 1-11, A300 and Boeing 707-100/300's...

Could be test flight for certification.... :rolleyes:

 

Watch out for more this kind of flights,

doubt DCA would work on weekend,

but ... again... you might not know.. :pardon:

well actually i didn't even know that 9M-XAA was on her test flight and it was by coincidence that i managed to caught her this afternoon. i was preparing to "depart" WX when she came in. anyway, hope to see her on test flight again soon. :D :pardon:

Can confirm AK is expected again in a few days @ MAN, however, no aircraft-type was mentioned :nea: :sorry:

 

Might aswell be Fox-Charley again :pardon:

can she fly to MAN with MyTeam players if she haven't got her certification by DCA? :blink: :nea: anyway, how many times do she need to go for test flight before she can be certified by DCA? :help:

i'll bet there will be a number of spotters on duty this weekend. :rofl: since XAA would be continuing with her test flight (provided DCA doing OT). B)
