The XL CLASS section with 2-2-2 seat config

Seat pitch is generous... AirAsia X said the fare here will be like the 'normal economy fare' of full service airlines

AKX_14.jpg

The class where 'everyone' wanted to fly.... seat config 2-4-2 for this equipment

but will be 3-3-3 for new aircraft on order...

AKX_15.jpg

Seat pitch is 31"... & for new aircraft on order... seat will slide forward instead seat back reclines

AKX_16.jpg

Seat config is 2-3-2 for the last 5 rows...

AKX_18.jpg

You have to pay extra if you want to have these seats or similar...

Wow, congrats Norman for the exclusive coverage :clapping:

The Business Class, looks really 'business'...

But how come no central overhead compartment?

The first picture, ain't that Deputy Finance Minister sandwiched between TF and Dato Pahamin?

Hope to see more related photos. When will the first test run be?

Malaysianwings memang BOLEH! thanks Norman!

But how come no central overhead compartment?

Didn't notice until you mentioned.... so does this mean they're gonna limit passenger on handcarries?

Nice nice! I'm sure some of the AK staff are starting to dream of holidays in faraway lands like their full-service counterparts. And others can save on passage and do more shopping and sightseeing.

Yeah, Azahan... when the CEO first mentioned it during the ceremony,

I was like ... what?... Freddie Fernandez??.... Any relation with TF?...

But it was Freddie Laker... the pioneer LCC.

I remembered back in early 80's, flight from Prestwick, Scotland to New York only 99pound,

in L1011/DC10 of Laker's Airways... :)
