Then something that we don't see every day in PER - QF B744 from Sydney.

VH-OJB_YPPH_240408.jpg

Clear for take-off! B743 classic operating as QF 71 to SIN city.

VH-EBX_YPPH_240408.jpg

Immediately after QF71 was SQ226 to SIN city also. Seen here lining up for RWY 21.

Yes it was an excellent day KH!

Beautiful shots and great company - albeit for a short time - but still some great catches!

TK, how you been? Yeah the Kiwi niuzullin trup-el siven was quite easy to comprehend - more so than the Indonesia 726 :)

Kian and I went for a geeking session this afternoon as well...

Not a hell of a lot to photograph (its ANZAC Day today, so less domestic traffic), except G-V VH-CCC again

not many interesting cars at the Motor show compared to last year. No Porch, Merc,BMW even car 'ah moi'..

Only Audi R8, self parking Lexus and the new Holden Coupe60 drew the crowd's attention..

KL is bigger and better!!

MIR - Thanks. Hmm... you were on the international terminal barbecue park? BTW, it's not nice to photograph from International side in the afternoon - all back lit!!!

Iggy - Yeah, still some nice crisp sunny days between those crappy frontal weather. Temps around 15-25C. So bila you mau datang? (So when are you coming over?)

My share from the fine Anzac Day afternoon. Enjoy!

Hey Pieter,

The dutch birds are becoming MORE common down here :) Perth is becoming a major F100 Centre!!! Not to mention F50 - Just off the top of my head, I don't recall there being so many F50's anywhere else in Australia...... go the mining boom!

Was 'hunting' for wombat at YPPH this late afternoon.

Instead of wombat, I caught this blue Virgin Blue. :p :yahoo:

QF A330 departing rwy 21. I couldn't find anything about this flight.

Finally, Wombat 60 - DHC-4 Caribou only appeared after the sun set. ATA - 1800hr

The mound still accessible? Be careful of them snakes..... :S

The mound is not as easily accessible as before. It's now surrounded by constructions due to the rapid expansion of Perth Airport. You will need to walk very far around the constructions to get to the mound. Not advisable.

The secret of my shots is steps ladder. My newly acquired accessory. :db: :pardon:

Guess what I heard over Perth Radar while in the training area...

A temporary restricted airspace above Fremantle from surface to 2000'. Hehehe... I guess it's for the USS Wasp?

Edit: Confirmed from NOTAM. Last from 05 020000 TO 05 050800 UTC.

Also exclusion zone around the Freo passenger terminal.

Jetstar 653 opb VH-VQJ has just made emergency landing in Perth, as well as Perth Airport T1 (International) has been evacuated and all a/c being towed away from the terminal until further notice. Horrie Miller Drive has been closed by Police.

YPPH Intl. evacuated. They found a 'suspicious package' on the tarmac at MAS parking bay. Intl. flights were offloaded at T3. Temporary customs and immigration over there.
