Alex L 0 Report post Posted June 9, 2008 QR is operating A319's to TXL, a 6 hours 25 mins flight So.....they can operate pretty long trips; LH is using them North-Atlantic, although with reduced seating-capacity... See CeeBee's picture @ Obs Hill QR's A319 fleet is LR aircraft IIRC, hence they have the legs to do the long trips. LH's A319 fleet is from Privitair, also a fleet of LR aircraft, again with the legs to do long trip. BI's A319 fleet I am pretty sure aren't LR aircraft so it is a longer stretch for them compared with the QR / LH (Privitair) A319 fleets. Alex.

kianhong 0 Report post Posted June 15, 2008 haha... was standing on top of a at least 10ft high mound. Almost blown off my feet when numerous strong gust blew pass me. Some nice crisp sunlight in between passing -SHRA. Remember to bring thick wind breaker if u wanna spot in mid-winter. Low temperature + strong wind ... no joke! Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted June 19, 2008 (edited) Awesome pics Kian! Couple of newbie's from QF last week, with 73H (SFP) VH-VZB making her first appearance...3 times in 1 day! And A332 VH-EBJ entered service, MEL-PER and she's now fairly regular, soon to be twice each day. Other noteworthy visitors... G-IV N1625 came in to clear up the mess up north (she's owned by Apache) CV-580 VH-PDV just arrived, about 1hr ago. 732 N413JG arrived yesterday ex- SZB and HLP. LJ35 VH-JCR flew very late night medivac, MEL-PER-CCK and back. LJ60 N50LK flew in from hometown Seletar via Bali 74F N526MC came back today also. Pieter, I didn't get the opportunity to go upstairs on the Antonov this time, however my understanding is she has had flightdeck upgraded amongst other things. Hence the -150 designation.
