kianhong 0 Report post Posted June 30, 2008 Thanks Chaity! Best part of spotting in the winter - no heat haze, chances of rainbow, occasional bright crisp sunlight, but you have to battle strong cold wind, some rain and wear like you are going snowboarding. Here's two more. Cheers.

Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted July 1, 2008 Reminder gents... All EK flights from today opb A345's! For next 6 weeks or so, Heavylift 722F RP-C8019 is opb AAE. 722F VH-VLI has been been in Melbourne since late last week undergoing heavy maintenance to keep her going until September 09. Unfortunately, due to the times she's flying and the new freight apron good luck getting any pics

kianhong 0 Report post Posted July 6, 2008 Brilliant winter afternoon, every aircraft came out brilliant. First Challenger CL-604 of the day. Always nice to shoot some classic before they all gone. Second Challenger CL-604 from RAAF. Pac Blue. First time getting "Smooth as Silk" on rwy 03 approach. EK 420 arrived minutes before sunset! I was hoping for a A345 but hell yeah, B77W is fine too. Thanks for viewing.

Peter Smith 1 Report post Posted July 7, 2008 MIR, GLEX N888GX is owned by Perth/Sydney resident, and Channel 7 boss, Kerry Stoakes. Its only new, replacing his aging Falcon 900B VH-ACE. Based in Perth also, and is extremely new, just a couple of weeks, is Hawker 900XP VH-ACE. Other bizzers in town of late, including G-V VH-CCC (arrived ex- Subang) and G550 N401HB which came in from Seletar. Lovely pic of -ZZH, Kian. How i miss working with this lovely bird... 3 weeks of 77W/A345 mix due school holidays for EK. Also, double daily 743 on MEL-PER-MEL is now opb A332 VH-EBJ. kianhong 0 Report post Posted July 9, 2008 3 weeks of 77W/A345 mix due school holidays for EK. Also, double daily 743 on MEL-PER-MEL is now opb A332 VH-EBJ. Yeah EK ...send more 77W & A345! Only can catch the morning flight arriving 1040LT. There's more A332 to come for QF, Liam? Kianhong, regarding to the ex-Speedbird you've mentioned in the previous post,do you mean the B767? are those 767 are ex-BA? Both B767s in the previous post are ex-BA. Just look at the engines - Roll Royce instead of GE. The rego (ZX series) also different than the GE fleet (OG series).

kianhong 0 Report post Posted July 11, 2008 A wet & cold Friday! But still worth all the troubles and rains to catch the return of MRD. Welcome Back Mike Romeo Delta! :yahoo: Fuselage & engines cowling are squeaky clean but not the tail fin. No ugly 'Visit Malaysia Year' stickers. Sorry about the crappy photo, it was raining when she touched down. Powerful reversed thrust ... from the regular Indonesia n not so regular Indonesia. Singapore 226 sprayed some water as she lift off from the runway. Heading back to the warm n humid Singapore. 77W again for EK420 and she was early! Thanks for viewing. Tamizi Hj Tamby 1 Report post Posted July 12, 2008 (edited) Kianhong, another amazing coverage from YPPH! Glad to see Romeo Delta back in action:clapping: looks like she's a frequent visitor to PER too. Hmm,did the Garuda baby arrived from DPS? (Just a wild guess here) Tri M.G 732? I thought that Tri M.G is one of the banned airline company in Indonesia? (correct me if i'm wrong here) and also the magnificent EK 77W. Keep us updated with activities from PER.
