MASAHIKO SAKAI 0 Report post Posted April 25, 2010 Dear Mr Khiem Hello,It has been a long time. How are you doing in Hanoi? I heard from Kanehoshi-san that you have been moved from SGN to HAN. From Summer schedule 2010,JO751 arrives at Hanoi late in the afternoon instead of the evening. So you will have a chance to take photos for JAL B767-300ER. But I have no duty to Both airport in Vietnum almost a year so on. I have to request for these flights soon or later. Best regards Capt Masahiko Sakai

Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted June 9, 2010 Tuan Khiem, Great livery, but what a bad job done in MNL !!! I cannot believe how sloppy the job of painting the fuselage was done (paint has not been equally applied and look like 'stripes')...hope VN management will return this aircraft back to MNL or have the job redone by another ST member... (just compare PH-BXO, which was done 2 weeks ago by KLM painters) http://www.airliners.net/photo/SkyTeam-(KLM--/Boeing-737-9K2/1716140/L/&sid=5674cef70db5ed8079faa12d4bc21230 Too much time pressure, I presume... Waiping 12 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 Ya, the plane looks quite worn for a new paint job.
Tamizi Hj Tamby 1 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 PH-BXO looks good;too bad that VN-A371 looks dull.. Perhaps they should repaint her elsewhere.
Tuan Khiem 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 Some technical mistakes found on the body. Look at Vietnam Airlines logo sticker, it's not level and quite dulled color too. Not as shiny as I thought, however, the next paint will undertake by Vietnamese at Hochiminh a/p.
Huan Duong 0 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 perhaps they have limited time to paint for the ceremony
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted June 10, 2010 perhaps they have limited time to paint for the ceremony That's not an excuse Even the silver is not similar to the ones used by KL/AF or KE... Yes, Tuan Khiem: VN should do a re-paint and clame some money from the painters at MNL for not delivering the desired result...
