Hanoi - Noi Bai International Airport

Recommended Posts

This season AF uses A343 to serve Vietnam market. I captured her in a very nice sunlight day after almost 3 months in grey days only.

Dear Mr Khiem

Hello,It has been a long time. How are you doing in Hanoi?

I heard from Kanehoshi-san that you have been moved from SGN to HAN.

From Summer schedule 2010,JO751 arrives at Hanoi late in the afternoon instead of the evening.

So you will have a chance to take photos for JAL B767-300ER.

But I have no duty to Both airport in Vietnum almost a year so on.

I have to request for these flights soon or later.

Best regards

Capt Masahiko Sakai

According to my knowledge, not less than 150 Mig 21s are in service.

@Uncle Pieter: Sukhoi 30MK2V/ 27SMK/ Su22/ Mig21/ L39 Albatros and a lot of Helicopter for special missions.

Tuan Khiem,

Great livery, but what a bad job done in MNL !!! :o

I cannot believe how sloppy the job of painting the fuselage was done (paint has not been equally applied and look like 'stripes')...hope VN management will return this aircraft back to MNL or have the job redone by another ST member...

(just compare PH-BXO, which was done 2 weeks ago by KLM painters)

Too much time pressure, I presume...

Ya, the plane looks quite worn for a new paint job. :(

PH-BXO looks good;too bad that VN-A371 looks dull.. :( Perhaps they should repaint her elsewhere.

Some technical mistakes found on the body. Look at Vietnam Airlines logo sticker, it's not level and quite dulled color too. Not as shiny as I thought, however, the next paint will undertake by Vietnamese at Hochiminh a/p.

perhaps they have limited time to paint for the ceremony

That's not an excuse

Even the silver is not similar to the ones used by KL/AF or KE... :finger:

Yes, Tuan Khiem: VN should do a re-paint and clame some money from the painters at MNL for not delivering the desired result... :(

Great shot !!!

Was surprised to see a C130 upon landing at SGN yesterday: RU/5950 of USN

This type of aircraft was very regular prior to 1975 there, right ?
