Ameq 0 Report post Posted April 22, 2016 When I was flying on QR852 DOH-KUL(14apr2016), we parked at Gate A2 in klia for disembarkation. I was quite surprised as it is normally be done in Satellite building. It was a very low load on the 340. Any reason for this?

I was quite surprised as it is normally be done in Satellite building. It was a very low load on the 340. Any reason for this?No available gate to cater A346 at satellite terminal.A346 (previously LH and sometimes TG use it to KUL) usually being parked at gate C17,27,37, the A380 gates. If I'm not mistaken LH did parked their A346 at gate A2 for few times before when those 3 A380 gates being used by other airlines. KS Ong 1 Report post Posted June 26, 2016 (edited) MW had an invitation by KLM to cover a small event last Friday. From 23 June 2016 onwards, KLM has increased its service to KUL from 7 to 10 flights per week. The 3 additional flights depart Amsterdam under the abovementioned flight number on Thursday, Friday and Sunday and arrive Kuala Lumpur the next morning. The return flight to Amsterdam is on Friday, Saturday and Monday as flight number KL812. From 1 November 2016 onwards, KLM shall switch its equipment for these additional flights to the Boeing 787-9 (Dreamliner). Seen here PH-BQP, operating the maiden flight for flight number KL811, taxis into Gate C2. She was previously adorned with "Tile & Inspire" special colours between June 2011 - March 2012. A sad sight. Edited June 26, 2016 by KS Ong
