For better visibility and to avoid collision by ground equipment/vehicles...

I see.. Why don't the Boeing planes have it then?

Usual traffic but unusual heading. :D

I am no expert at spotting at KUL and I just happened to be there yesterday to send my bro and his family off on that MH B744 flight to LHR.

Is it more normal for them to use 32R (instead of 14R) for departures in the morning?

10 out of 10 times they were heading the other way when I was there. And during those time never ever a B744 passed by.

Flee, 95% of the time RWY32 is in used (L for landing and R for take off). Yesterday RWY 32R/14L was undergoing calibration and at the time when you were at AT, RWY 14 was in use. :drinks:

I think what Waiping meant was pics taken from AT would normally have the plane heading from right to left (RWY to terminal) while your shots are heading from left to right (Terminal to RWY).

Just some normal shots to share around and keep the AT thread alive.

First time catching Foxtrot Bravo for me as it was always Alpha that greeted me :yahoo:

Two A320's for the price of one! I just realised how much I dislike the nose section of the A320 compared to Boeing's little 737s.

Is it normal for planes to have dents albeit minor ones on the fuselage? :help:

Done some night spotting in KLIA tdy. The night KLIA is commonly full of hectic traffics. Sadly didn't saw any Mike Tango Alpha around :(

Agreed Flee, i guess if at night if one couldn't see the rego, the cabin lighting can determine whether its an X or L aircraft.

Cheers mate!
