Naim 6 Report post Posted April 11, 2007 http://www.aussieairliners.net/b-707q/vh-ebs/vhebs.html (9M-ASO / 9M-MCS) Snowy HKG? http://www.aussieairliners.net/b-707q/vh-ebs/4604.403.html Question: Do these look like SZB to you? http://www.aussieairliners.net/b-707q/vh-ebr/4604.426.html http://www.aussieairliners.net/b-707q/vh-ebr/4604.427.html Yes, I'd vote for SZB (or KUL at that time) too. Anyway, Azmal, thanks for the links. My first long-distance flight was with MH DC-10-30 in Jan '78 (KUL-SYD). Never had the chance to try B707. +++

Guest Fendy Report post Posted April 15, 2007 does it really matter if its hkg or not? just give the benefit of the doubt to the photographer - the person who was there. and just enjoy the pictures
BC Tam 2 Report post Posted April 15, 2007 Hear, hear ! The 707 did look slendid in the old MAS colours, wherever in the world it was pictured at. Thank goodness we have a 1:400 representation available, to be oggled at leisure !! As far as I can remember, I was only ever on a MH 707 once, on our way KUL (SZB now) to home (BKI) after undergoing my interview at British consulate (for student visa) I think it was after the DC-10's arrived and the 707's were thus available for deployment on the busier domestic sectors. Yep, nostalgia creeping in again !
Pieter C. 5 Report post Posted April 17, 2007 Wonder how the 707s look like in MAS's current livery Think, they would look as classy as the 'old' livery; maybe, some FSIMmers can do a 'repaint' and show it here ?
