Spotting in Hong Kong

Recommended Posts

HKG is a lovely place for spotting

Yes, and most airlines use more than one aircraft type. Mix in cargo and other traffic and you have a very interesting time there. Maybe we shud organise a dedicated spotting trip there sometime!

Hi guys,

I've got goods to share! :drinks:

Since it was SQ first A380 Flight to VHHH. I have took some picts .

Great light, great planes... the only down side was "Too many people", but nevertheless it won't affect my passion.

Due to the amount of time i have, i have selected 12 imagines to share with you people.

Enjoy! :clapping:

Last but not least... A380 (9V-SKG)

IMG_8203-0.jpg

*addition information,on both landing and take off of the A380 interesting things happened.

-During Landing, my camera some how happened to be "BUSY" and not willing to take pict ... damn! But have to say, i wasn't taking too many at a time, in fact only took 2 shots in a roll then this problem has occurred :sorry:

(therefore, no landing photos of the A380 to share with you people, sorry...)

-Before A380 take off again, my camera worked perfectly fine again....

however, similar situation happened again, and the only different was.... my nose was bleeding too.

but Thanks for the great light and I have ignored the fact that my nose was bleeding and managed to find one of two focused images in my memory card at the end. :drinks:

Here's a new quote : If it ain't (nose) bleeding, it ain't spotting. :pardon:

Derek,

Didn't know you 'went' back from LPL to HKG :sorry:

Anyhow, thanks for sharing these HKG shots: I do like the EK 777-Freighter and SQ 380, especially... :good:

I am happy to share with you guys the lastest addition of winglets to this B767-300/ER - ZK-NCG, in the fleet of Air New Zealand. This was handled in Hong Kong by HAECO, and just deliver for home yesterday. Hope you will like that. Enjoy~~

It seems that B763 operators rapidly put winglets on their 767s!

American, Delta, Air New Zealand, Condor, Austrian, LAN, TUIFLY, do I miss anyone?

Nice shot Sneeze ! :yahoo:

It does mean, they're intended for operations for a lot of years to come... ;)

It is always nice to be a student, why? Just have a look with my cousin's photos, he nailed the special AC B77W! But I am not there. :sorry:

Anyway, hopes our HKG shots attracted you to put a click in this thread.

After nearly a week time of the scheduled A388 flight to HKG, I finally have chance to nail it. I have to say, thanks god for such a nice weather day. As well, no naughty guy switched my light off during my rare spotting session. :drinks:

No worry man, as long as you are doing things legally, you can do whatever you want.

But some actions/ behaviors, you may be advised not to do/ leave the place.

Just enjoy your time in HKG. If you have any problem, contact me and see if I can help.
