At 11004 ft they should be able to land at MLW and takeoff at MTOW.

Minimum Reuirement by Civil Aviaiton Authority Singapore for initial aircraft type rating certification flight.

1 Complete Autoland

1 Touch and Go

1 Full Stop Landing

This is the absolute minimum. Depending on the number of trainees on board and availability of aircraft, instructors can opt to do more sometimes if he feels that trainees requires more practise. Its an expensive exercise guys....

what is ILS approach? :blink:

im a lay person...

Approach to the landing runway, following the Instrument Landing System (ILS), consisting of the Localizer and Glideslope...

Maybe, captain (papa)Radzi or FO LeeCH can explain better the technicalities for you :pardon:

I ask about the full stop landing for 747 this is because I saw in the picture that Mohd Idham provided show the end of the runway the place for aircraft turn didn't feel like big enough for a 747 can turn around. So that why I ask those pro are there able to turn 180 degree turn at the end of the runway.

oh, thanks a lot pieter. :good:

btw, when we say the flt is on final, does it mean ILS approach?

Only if the airport equipped with ILS facilities, that for sure. We have as well VOR approach, NDB approach etc..

Correct me if I'm wrong. :rolleyes:

If memory serves me right...

VOR = Very High Frequency Omnidirectional Radar

NDB = Non Directional Beacon
