The 'power' of panning makes foreground and background subjects in motion blur... That I think is the ILS antenae... BTW Kevin... very nice set, altho' I think 1/160s shutter speed is a bit too fast since you can't get nice streaks from objects in the background. Your examples showed that panning for landing aircraft are achievable at speed slower than 1/100s. So guys... next time for panning shots... Shutter priority at 1/100s or slower.. Didn't actually take care of the metering which i think is quite essential to get the right exposure.
